1. Context

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 and digital transformation are increasingly becoming key factors determining the operational efficiency and competitiveness of businesses. In this context, the demand for understanding ERP solutions, business management, and optimizing operational processes is on the rise.

Many business owners understand that digital transformation is necessary but do not have a clear method to prioritize, evaluate solutions/providers, and manage projects. They also do not know where to start the digital transformation process correctly.

While the familiar picture in operation is:

  • Data is scattered across multiple Excel files and disparate software.

  • Each department has different requirements, making it difficult for the CEO to determine priorities.

  • Price quotes are easy to compare, but implementation methods and responsibilities are challenging.

  • Systems have been implemented but have few users or projects that drag on.

Businesses are not lacking in suppliers. What is missing is a method to know what needs to change before starting the digital transformation journey.

2. Workshop series in Q4/2026

From that perspective, the Information Technology and Design Center (ATD - UEH) in collaboration with Leonix Vietnam is honored to organize a series of workshops titled “Digital Transformation Done Right” taking place in the fourth quarter of 2026. The program avoids the approach of a “technology seminar” or “software demo,” instead focusing on enhancing the decision-making capabilities of business leaders.

In which, two implementing units simultaneously hold important roles:

  • ATD - UEH leverages its strengths in training, research, and technology knowledge transfer to businesses and the community.
  • Leonix Vietnam brings consulting capabilities, solution implementation, and practical experience in accompanying businesses on their digital transformation journey.

[ATD xLeonix] collaborates to organize a series of Digital Transformation Workshops.

The roadmap for the workshop series is designed as a continuous story that includes:

  • Workshop 01: "Digital Transformation: Where to Start to Avoid Waste?" helps businesses accurately identify the problem and prioritize investments.

  • Workshop 02: "Choosing Solutions and Providers: How to Choose Correctly?" helps businesses understand how to read SOW, compare proposals, and select providers.

  • Workshop 03: "Managing Digital Transformation Projects: What Must Business Owners Do?" helps Project Sponsors design governance, responsibilities, and decision-making mechanisms to increase the probability of success.

3. Workshop 01

Workshop 01 with the theme: "Digital Transformation: Where to Start to Avoid Waste?" helps businesses answer the following questions:

  • What problem does the business need to solve first?

  • Which issues need process improvement, and which ones truly require technology?

  • Should we implement ERP/CRM now or not?

  • Where should we prioritize investments in the next 12 months?

Information about Workshop 01: "Where to Start Digital Transformation to Avoid Waste?"

Digital transformation begins with identifying what changes the business needs, not by selecting software. Leaders need to list the bottlenecks in the operational chain, rank them by their impact, and then decide which issues need process improvement and which ones truly require technology.

At Leonix, we believe that businesses rarely fail due to a lack of technology, but rather because they invest in a problem that has not been correctly identified. The correct order is to choose the problem first, then choose the technology.

4. What does the business receive after Workshop 01?

At the Workshop, businesses not only listen to practical insights from the speakers but also gain practical perspectives and useful methods to assess their operational status and appropriately guide their digital transformation.

  1. Assess the level of readiness for digital transformation of the business in six aspects:strategy, processes, people, data, technology, governance.
    Evaluate now

  2. Map out bottlenecks along the customer chain, sales, purchasing, inventory, delivery, and finance instead of by department:Identify bottlenecks in operations that are directly affecting business efficiency.

  3. Determine investment priorities:Use the Business Impact Matrix to identify the problems that need prioritization, avoiding technology investments based on trends that do not address the right issues.

  4. Outline the starting roadmap:Choose three priorities with a 12-month roadmap for digital transformation.

  5. Summary of digital transformation:to work with internal teams and suppliers.

Distinguishing this helps answer the hardest question: should we act now or not? Once ready, the next step is to know how to read quotes and choose the right supplier.
